Yes, I really did have the vet shave him like this! He was a mess by winter's end with knots that I just couldn't get out so away we went to Lazaridis' clinic for the 'Full Monty' so to speak! He as so shy and felt very uncomfortable after the shave. Dr. Lazaridis told me not to laugh at him but keep telling him how great he looked because many dogs have a complex when they get such a drastic cut. Poor baby! He really did look pathetic, didn't he?
